Independent testing confirms Kilter AX-1 achieves the highest drift reduction classification
PRESS RELEASE
Langhus, Norway – 29 June 2026
Independent testing by Wageningen University & Research (WUR) has confirmed that Kilter AX-1 qualifies for DRT99, the highest spray drift reduction classification in the Dutch system for spraying technologies.
The testing demonstrated more than 99% drift reduction compared with conventional reference spraying systems, validating Kilter's precision application technology.
For growers, the benefits extend well beyond drift reduction. By applying herbicide only where treatment is needed, AX-1 helps reduce crop exposure, improve crop uniformity and make more efficient use of crop protection products. The DRT99 classification also allows growers in the Netherlands to spray closer to ditches and waterways, helping maximize productive field area.
“This result is about much more than achieving a classification. It demonstrates how precision technology can help growers produce healthier crops, use fewer inputs and farm more sustainably. Having this independently verified by Wageningen University & Research is an important milestone for Kilter as we continue expanding across Europe and Australia,” says Anders Brevik, Managing Director of Kilter.
The DRT99 classification marks an important milestone for Kilter's commercial growth in the Netherlands and further strengthens the company's position in the European and Australian markets.
