Precision in the onion field – Kilter at Field Day with Karl Emil Rosnæs, Rygge

During the National Onion Field Day in Rygge, AX-1 got to do what it does best – right in the field at Karl Emil Rosnæs’ farm. Onions, robots, and real conversations. Just the way we like it.

Sun, soil, and solid conversations – field day at Rosnæs’ farm in Rygge.

On Friday, June 28th, the National Onion Field Day was held in Rygge – organized by NLR (Norwegian Agricultural Advisory Service). The event took place at Karl Emil Rosnæs’ farm and gathered growers, advisors, and tech suppliers for a full day of expert talks, experience sharing, and live field demos.

We brought AX-1 to the onion rows – and had great conversations with engaged growers who asked sharp questions, shared their own insights, and challenged us on the details. The robot showed what 6 mm precision and Single Drop Technology means in real life: targeted spraying, row by row, with no waste.

For us, field days like this aren’t just about showing off tech. They’re about listening, learning, and building better tools – together with the people who actually work the fields.

Big thanks to NLR for a well-organized event, to Karl Emil for hosting, and to everyone who stopped by for a chat.
We’re already looking forward to the next one.

Tested with farmers. Built for real fields.

Growers in Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands are already using AX-1 in carrots, onions, salad, and beets. The results? Less manual labour. More control. And a smoother season from start to finish.

Cut the hassle. Keep the control

At Kilter, we don’t replace people – we free them up to do the work that really matters.
