Precision spraying that targets weeds in the row, live at Agritechnica
At Agritechnica Kilter shows AX-1. It is an autonomous machine that removes weeds inside the row using SDT (Single Drop Technology). The technology does the job where mechanical tools cannot. Visit us in Hall 5, Stand A20 (05A20) and see it for yourself.
In row weeds are a hard problem. Mechanical tools must keep a distance from the crop, and manual weeding is costly and unpredictable. Other spot sprayers in the market demonstrate a lot of drift and are too coarse. With AX-1, the only true selective herbicide application method, you get precision in the row, low input use, and scalable operations. The result is higher precision, less herbicide, and more predictable production. AX-1 operates by itself and the system finds each weed on the move. It decides position and timing, and releases one droplet at the right moment. The machine continues the job while the crop stays untouched.
What we are showing
On the stand we will run an open and honest demonstration of the high definition spraying. AX-1 identifies weeds with cameras and applies a single droplet of herbicide to each weed plant. No broadcast spraying. No soil disturbance. Only targeted input where it is needed.
The technology is built for vegetables from dense rows of leafy greens to larger crops with weeding problems. It works across a wide range of vegetables, including lamb’s lettuce, rocket, spinach, Celeriac, pumpkin and more. See the updated list of supported crops her. The system works in both bed systems and flat land.
