Kilter is looking for an Embedded Hardware Engineer
Kilter is expanding their operations and is now hiring an Embedded Hardware Engineer. In the position of Embedded Hardware Engineer you will help develop the world's most precise weed handling robot Kilter AX-1.
You will have a crucial role in the development of hardware and low-level software for a product capable of changing the food production industry. The perfect candidate is able to design a mass producible PCB, make it work by writing low level embedded software, verify that it works as intended and sort out production issues if they arise. You will choose to lean on the expertise of your co-workers when you feel like you need it, but you will also be able to use your own experience and expertise to make impactful decisions.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be a part of solving real world problems from concept to final product
Working on PCB design and electronic sub-system designs
Low level programming (C/C++)
Contribute hands-on in the lab, building and debugging electronic systems, ranging from small test systems to fully integrated robots
Develop test jig for automated QA
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor/Master degree in engineering
Experience with PCB design and prototyping
Experience with embedded software development
Preferably experience from consumer electronics
Good written and verbal English communication skills
